Nathan , as you know i am rewriting the audio subsystem of lxdream but i have found follwing problem in bikkuriman and looney tunes space race, it seems that the channel 63 is not handled correctly if i force enable of this channel i get garbled audio but audio is output ,if not the channel is never started. Can you help me? by the way when i reach a good standard in the audio i will send you the hg diff by email.
Here my fixes for the audio i set different standard volumes for pcm 16bits and 8 bits set as constants in aica.H. simplified at maximum sdl_audio simplified at maximum audio.c set cycles per sample to 44 (set as constant in audio.h) set number_of samples to 48 this seems the best tradeoff (set as constant in audio.h)
Things i tried to fix but did not have luck NO AUDIO IN SOME GAMES (channel 63) IN SOME GAMES THE AUDIO REPEATS FOREVER Some glitches in audio when playiin adpcm 4BITS
