I've a little collection of dreamcast game and i've tested for you 18 games !!! with screenshots ^^ About my configuration : Laptop Packard Bell MX61-b002 1 Go DDR 2 on Dual Channel CG : ATI HD2400 mobility AMD Turion X2 @ 1.8 Ghz OS : Ubuntu 7.10 32 Bits (64 when * Project Justice (rival school 2) menu : 35 ~ 50 % in game : 12 % Errors : Undefined texture format / Accumulation buffer not supported * Jet Set Radio : Intro : 82 % Menu : 25 % In Game : 25 ~ 32 % * Sky of Arcadia CD1 not Echelon Intro : 12 ~ 25 % Menu : 49 % Crash in the end of first intro when Vyse coming : 35 ~60 % Errors : Undefined texture format / Accumulation buffer not supported * Soul Calibur Menu : 52 % Nice !! no bugs !! like others emus Screen of caracteres : 3 ~ 8 % very slow In Game : Blaxk screen, but when i press start the menu work ! 25 ~ 34 % * Resident Evil : Code veronica CD1 Menu : 71 ~ 84 % In Game : 40 ~55 % * DreamKey 3.0 Menu : 50 % * Spawn Block in loading screen : 49 % * Ikaruga Error : MMU adress translation not implemented ! * Sega Rally 2 Error : MMU adress translation not implemented ! * Gealty Gear Intro : 2 % Crash * Virtua Fighter 3 tb Error : bas return adress in maple packets 00000700 * Sonic Adventure 2 - Echelon Echelon ok Black Screnn * 18 Wheeler - Echelon Echelon ok Black Screnn * Shenmus 2 Black screen like sonic adventure 2 No launch after sega logo : * Utopia boot CD V2 * Marvel vs Capcom * Ecco the dolphin * Power Stone 2 Others come soon ^^ |

Ok, i've tester others games, i will post the screen this week end, because i don't have a good conection for the moment... So, it is an idea to look, what is work or not * Resident evil 3 : Nemesis Intro : 40 Menu : 50 % In Game : 35 ~ 42 % Not Crash, almost playable ^^' * Capcom vs SNK 2 In Game : 92 % (but slow...) Input pad slow * Maccros M3 Intro : 60 % Menu : 75 % In Game 60 % * Tony Hawk's 2 Intro : 35 ~ 42 % Menu : 80 ~ 89 % In Game : 50 % * CD Boot Utopia v 1.2 Menu : 50 % D'ont boot an non bootable game Don't Work : * Megaman Collection (only first screen) I hope the console log can help the devs to correct the bugs. Hi, first thank you for your nice dreamcast project. In the attachement you can find a little compatibility list. The list has the OpenOffice Calc Format.. Now I'll try the pbuffer stuff. Bye

1. Please do not ask for (or offer) support with illegal copies. I'm not going to help you, and I would ask others here to do the same. Ferchrissakes, you can buy most DC games these days for less than $10, and play them legally[0]. Future posts on this matter will be deleted. 2. Last I've heard, the utopia boot disc doesn't actually work in lxdream at the moment anyway. I am led to believe that it is has been upheld in the US at least (ie "format-shifting"), but I am not a lawyer and don't pretend to be one. |
