So, i am a complete noob. I have no idea, what to do.

I downloaded the latest lxdream, I'm on a macbook pro, running snow leopard.

What exactly is a BIOS? where is it found? (i've searched for quite awhile through my files)

Or if you would just like to cut to the chase, just tell me what I need to do.

It says drag and drop files into the bios and flash rom (according the the wiki)

I just don't know exactly what to drag and drop. and where it could be found.

The Dreamcast BIOS is under copyright and cannot generally be distributed without permission from Sega. In some parts of the world, I understand that you can legally transfer the BIOS from your own dreamcast for your own personal use, i.e. format-shifting. If you live in one of these parts, you can probably find instructions for this somewhere on the internet.

Fortunately, with current lxdream builds, the BIOS is not required to run most homebrew software - please let me know if there are any that still seem to require a real BIOS.

And for the record, linking to copyright-infringing material is most definitely not permitted on this forum.

Cheers,
Nathan

Right on, my bad. Didn't think you'd care but I guess you probably do, this being your website and downloading a BIOS being illegal and all that. Ah well, if someone needs a BIOS it shouldn't be too hard to find themselves anyway.
