It's an ancient error message that was probably never cleaned up because it's never actually been triggered. Until now - aren't you lucky?

It means you have a CDI image which specifies a track format that the code thinks isn't possible. Although in this particular case it seems plausible enough so it might be legitimate - unfortunately documentation for the CDI format is basically non-existent

Hmm.... I must be lucky! I've heard that the raw gdi format is more reliable. Does anyone have a nice Linux program that will extract the contents of the cdi? I'd rather not use diskjuggler on WINE.

You can use cdi2nero as the .nrg format generally works well with lxdream.
