I've managed to get it working on my mac and the game plays and it all seems to work perfectly... Except that the framerate is incredibly slow, to unplayable levels. For the most part the framerate stays at about 20-30%, occasionally jumping up to 50% and very rarely to about 90% for a fraction of a second. Sometimes it slows to 15% or even 5% at one point. If there was just a way to put the framerate up I'd be in business! If it helps, the game is Skies of Arcadia and it's in .nrg format. Any information is appreciated! |

1. You could buy a faster computer (most importantly a faster video card) 2. You could work on making the lxdream renderer faster Otherwise, no not really. Performance at the moment is _heavily_ dominated by the renderer - it's really slow at the moment, especially on older video chips. I have a few things I'd like to try to improve it, but haven't really had any time to work on it. Cheers, Nathan |
