Ubuntu:To install lxdream on Ubuntu you can use the pre-compiled .deb file which is available here: http://www.lxdream.org/download.php

In Ubuntu 9.10 : lxdream icon is in games submenu, else no, it won't appear in your "Applications" menu (GNOME users) instead you'll have to start it by running "lxdream" in the terminal.

You will likely get two error messages related to the BIOS. Due to legal reasons I can't link to a BIOS for you but it's easy enough to find. Once you have a BIOS load up lxdream click the "paths" tab in the "settings" menu and specify the location of the "dc_bios.bin" and "dc_flash.bin".

You will now be able to play most lxdream compatible Dreamcast games.
