In the preferences menu I don't know what to put in the Boot strap area and in the default disk path. what am I supposed to put there? Please help. I am so close to playing games and I think the problem lies there.

Both are optional - If provided, the bootstrap is run before binary programs to setup the system environment (a few demos need this to initialize things, but generally if you don't know what this is, you don't need it). And the disc path is as the name says, just a default for the dialog box, and has no other effect.
